Data controller: Caramulo Digital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"mailto:info@caramulodigital.com\">info@caramulodigital.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What data we collect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We collect the data you give us and some anonymous statistics about how the site is used:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the contact form: name, company, email, phone (optional), the services you are interested in and your message<\/li>\n\n<li>In the free tools: the address of the site you want to test and, if you ask for the report, your email<\/li>\n\n<li>In the client area (only for clients we invite): name, company, email, phone, preferred language, the requests and messages we exchange, and your project documents, such as invoices and reports<\/li>\n\n<li>Site statistics, without cookies: pages viewed, clicks (on which element and where on the page), the site you came from, the campaign (UTM), the device type and the page language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any other third-party tracking or advertising tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Site statistics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We measure how the site is used with our own tool, hosted on our server. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. To count visitors without identifying them, we create a code from the IP address and browser, encrypted with a secret key that changes every day. The IP address is not stored and the code cannot recognise you from one day to the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do not count visits from signed-in users or robots, and we respect your browser&#039;s &quot;Do Not Track&quot; setting. Statistics are kept for 180 days and are not shared with anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we use your data for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To reply to your contact or proposal request and send the report you asked for<\/li>\n\n<li>To keep a record of our contact with you (requests, calls, emails and meetings) so we can follow up on your request or project<\/li>\n\n<li>If you are a client: to give you access to the client area, manage your requests and projects, share documents and let you know by email when there is news<\/li>\n\n<li>To understand which pages and tools are useful, so we can improve the site<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes, and we do not send you messages you did not ask for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal basis (GDPR)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact requests, proposals and reports: your consent and the pre-contract steps you ask for (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR)<\/li>\n\n<li>Client area and projects: performing our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b))<\/li>\n\n<li>Invoices: complying with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c))<\/li>\n\n<li>Site statistics and language and country choice: our legitimate interest in running a site that works well, using anonymous data (Article 6(1)(f))<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who processes data for us<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hostinger: hosting for the site, the client area and the statistics. Requests and documents are stored on our site.<\/li>\n\n<li>Brevo: sending the site&#039;s emails (automatic replies, reports and client area notifications).<\/li>\n\n<li>Google PageSpeed Insights: when you use the free audit, we send Google only the address of the site to test, never your personal data.<\/li>\n\n<li>The AI visibility and Shopify health checks are run by our own server, which visits the site you entered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Language and country<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To show the site in the right language and, in the home page illustration, the currency and distances of your country, we use a database stored on our own server (DB-IP) that gives the country from the IP address. Your IP is not stored or sent to third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cookies and local storage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This site only uses what it needs to work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>cd_lang cookie: remembers the language you chose, for 12 months<\/li>\n\n<li>cd-theme local storage: remembers your choice of light or dark theme<\/li>\n\n<li>cd-req local storage: remembers the services you added to your request, until you send it<\/li>\n\n<li>cd_cc and cd_lv session storage: remember the detected country and the example shown on the home page, and are deleted when you close the tab<\/li>\n\n<li>WordPress session cookies: only when you sign in to the client area, to keep you signed in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This data stays on your device and is not used to track you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the GDPR, you have the right to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access your personal data<\/li>\n\n<li>Correct inaccurate data<\/li>\n\n<li>Ask for your data to be deleted<\/li>\n\n<li>Withdraw your consent at any time<\/li>\n\n<li>Object to processing based on our legitimate interest<\/li>\n\n<li>Complain to the CNPD (Portugal) or the ICO (United Kingdom)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How long we keep data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact and report requests that do not lead to a project: up to 12 months, then they are deleted automatically<\/li>\n\n<li>Clients: for as long as we work together and the time required by law afterwards (for example, Portuguese law requires invoices to be kept for 10 years)<\/li>\n\n<li>Site statistics: 180 days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To exercise your rights or ask anything about privacy, email us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"mailto:info@caramulodigital.com\">info@caramulodigital.com<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00daltima atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o: outubro de 2026 Quem somos A Caramulo Digital \u00e9 uma ag\u00eancia de marketing digital com presen\u00e7a em Portugal (Caramulo, Tondela) e no Reino Unido (Cheddar, Somerset).
